How to make CM7 ROM a little bit faster ?

There are some settings in CyanogenMod that can help you with that.


First go to your settings

Next CyanogenMod settings

 -> Performance

Untick "Use JIT" and "Enable surface dithering"
tick "Use 16bit transparency" like on the screenshot below

 In CPU settings chose as governor SMARTASSV2.
(You can also change Min CPU frequency but remember that
this option will limit your battery life)

Fore more performance you can also try to use lightweight apps for example 
Zeam Launcher as alternative to your launcher.
